It was/is a looong bridge. I remember we were looking down through the ties at the water trying to figure out where we'd stand (or jump!) if a train should come along!
JEDAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686991059820767773.post-44674841196074647392011-02-23T09:45:23.903-08:002011-02-23T09:45:23.903-08:00Cool drawing! We end up doing some strange stuff, freelancing, but sometimes a client comes along who throws a bunch of stuff at us.

Your illustrations have a very strong "constructed" quality. I think this is why your toy designs always look so good. The drawings have such a solid look to them. I like all the detailed rivets in the plane.

I snuck some local details into the children's book I illustrated. What started out as fun ended up with me becoming more and more frustrated trying to get the construction details on the bridge right!Aaron Hazourihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09106694976443389309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686991059820767773.post-78916092773281188912011-02-23T07:46:49.487-08:002011-02-23T07:46:49.487-08:00Very neat Mr. Laird. From the Expression on Mr. Morrison's face I would say he is very frightened. This is a really fun drawing. I would not worry about missing the railroad bridge to much. It was the 80's. We all did things back then that we cant understand now. Heck, you should have seen my hair back then.
;)Mark Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01265759812414976377noreply@blogger.com
