It is the ONLY ting I like about the Fantastic Four movies, and the most I like from the comics.

Fun Fact: The hooded Thing in the first FF movie reminded me of Raphael from the FIrst TMNT Live action movie.

GREAT ART!Alkunkunkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14128957509687735092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686991059820767773.post-72051129493530477642008-09-21T12:31:00.000-07:002008-09-21T12:31:00.000-07:00-->> .. ..the dot - matrix effect for back ...-->> .. ..the dot - matrix effect for back then, Damm wow!! Is that how you did the logo and such as well?

Awesome job!

~Dinoff~"

That cool "separation" effect was actually achieved through the use of a Chartpak dot pattern film, in which the dots were opaque white instead of the usual black. To preserve the original art, I used a clear acetate overlay on which to apply the pattern film, cutting out the requisite areas to reveal the figure of "Ben the Grim". I do recall that this was, for me, at that time, an almost profligate use of the pattern film, which was not cheap. I think I used almost an entire sheet of it for this piece. (Of course, now I can get that same effect in Photoshop for free... with no X-Acto knives involved!) -- PL PLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14615918982616632405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686991059820767773.post-12826219476941352442008-09-21T11:35:00.000-07:002008-09-21T11:35:00.000-07:00This art is yet another reason why your art is so ...This art is yet another reason why your art is so awesome!!

How did you get the cover to come out like that?
It looks like the background was printed off seperately and the art of Ben was put in front?
