Not realizing until later in life that it was my uncle's magazine, SCAT , that was responsible for the bringing together Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. My uncle had no kids and so I was p the only nephew that has the privilege of living close enough to him to see him throughout the years. His porn name was RENRUT, our last name spelled backwards. He never regretted not being a part of the success of the teenage mutant ninja turtles, but was always proud that his magazine brought together the creators, though he never spoke of it. It's one of the cooler things that I came to learn about my uncle's interesting life. NO SCAT maintainer.... No mutant ninja turtles. Kevin Eastman has first come up with some version of ninja mutants (if I remember the story correctly) before they came up with TMNT. I could be wrong, but it was a long time ago I was told the specifics. Anyways, glad to see Our mention my uncle by name. I miss him a lot. He was special indeed.Chris Turnernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686991059820767773.post-58286856052811159172017-07-09T03:30:56.506-07:002017-07-09T03:30:56.506-07:00It went on for a couple of years at least. This thread was the most relevant I could find.

Aside from the first issue (v.1 #1)and the issue with the Halloween themed cover(v.2 #2), would you know how many additional issues saw publication?

I do enjoy the humor and anecdotes found through the magazine, especially the reader's letters. Though it was most likely fictitious, I appreciated how SCAT saved a local reader from throwing himself from a bridge...

Thank you for your time

MikeAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02620385494067473407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686991059820767773.post-71916958964241330192009-08-12T07:03:51.219-07:002009-08-12T07:03:51.219-07:00"Tyrgermanic said...
