Here's an oddity from the archives -- I think I must have made this in my penurious pre-TMNT days.
I suspect that I would have used these to give to family and friends in lieu of gifts that cost actual money... because back then I had very little of it. These coupons would likely have been redeemable for services, i.e. custom artwork. -- PL

A friend who knew a little bit of Latin told me that phrase back in the 1970's, and I thought it sounded cool. so I used it here. He said it meant "Where will the shield be safe?" It has no special meaning for this coupon. -- PL

I'm not one hundred percent sure I ever gave any of these coupons out. Maybe my brother, who reads this blog, might remember and let us know. -- PL
this is awesome....a little bit of Peter Laird trivia. the last time I was at my mom's, I noticed some artwork you had done for me back in the day....the next time I go there, I will hunt around for it.
