Turtles in the library, part 2

Here's another view of the visit my brother Bruce and I paid to the new installation of the TMNT bronzes I donated to UMass.


 I used Panorama Maker 5 to stitch together several shots to make this panoramic image of Bruce getting serious with his photography.

You can see more clearly in this shot the beautiful display case UMass commissioned for the sculpture group on its granite pedestal. -- PL

I just checked out the statues today in person....they looked amazing with the display! I snapped a few pics and could tell that I was annoying the students in there studying for finals (it was quite packed). I wish they could have put some sort of plaque or signage describing why they are there and of importance. I feel like most college age kids have no idea who the TMNT are.

There is a plan to put a plaque on the display case, as well as a sign nearby explaining what the TMNT are and telling a little bit of the history of the property. -- PL
