Just out of curiosity, do you have a picture from when you turned 50? I don't think you look any older now than you did on those interviews you recorded for the 4kids 2k3 DVDs back in the early 2000's. You're aging rather gracefully.

Happy birthday. May you live on well past 100!"
My fiftieth birthday happened before digital cameras were common, I am fairly sure, so not many photos were taken here back then. But I might be able to dig one out from a photo album if inspired. Thanks for the kind words about aging gracefully... and the centenarian wishes! -- PL
My turtle snese went off and I realized someone just had a birthday. Age is but a number,if you feel 20 one day that is what you are. I you feel 80 one day that is what you are. I hope you have another great year.
Also a hope that you will put out any kind of work. A book of your photography work would be grand. I like to pick up anything with your name on it. :)
As Leonard Nimoy would say," live long and prosper".

The corner copy shop then known as CopyWriters a division of County Stationers....
The shop is no longer there... but I will never forget you two young artist coming into my shop with the original Black and white sketches of what we all know today as those famous TURTLES!

Chris,
I confess I do not remember you, but I do remember our many trips down to Torrington to make good copies of artwork in the days before we'd saved up enough money to buy our own copy machine. I think we may have even bought it from the place at which you worked. I guess Sharon was just not sophisticated enough at that time (1984-1986) to have a decent copy machine. Fortunately, even though it was a somewhat long trip, we found you guys in Torrington. And we also used to combine out trips to make copies with a trip to the closest comic book store, which was "My Mother Threw Mine Away", also in Torrington. Thanks for writing! -- PL
Happy birthday, Peter! Been thinking of you lately, and hoping all is going well. Hope you had a great celebration, even if it didn't feel all that different.... That is a good thing, though, right?

It is a good thing, Anne... I think. Anyway, it's nice that you commented here, as, coincidentally, I have been thinking about you and wondering how you are doing in your new state. Hope things are going well for you! Email me! -- PL
Happy birthday, Mr. Laird. I've admired your work since I was a boy. Here's to another 60 years! Hopefully, I'll connect with you at a convention at some point.
