In case you are not a fan of "The Demon" books by Kirby, the title of this blog post may seem a bit obscure. It's the first line of a rhyme that Jason Blood would recite to tranform himself into Etrigan, the Demon... and I was such a big geeky fan of the book that I actually memorized it and remember it to this day.
As for the sculptor -- did you guess Kevin Eastman? If so, you would be correct. -- PL

Don't know the character, but it's a nice sculpt!
I've got all sorts of wacky quotes and trivia stored in my geek brain - "Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra" and all that.
One of the fun parts of Comic-Con is how all of that useless knowledge comes flowing out as you're surrounded by 125,000 like-minded geeks.
YEA! You're back! You must take exceptionally good care off your sculpey items, because the cape on that looks like it would be very brittle and snap easily. That or Kevin used a different kind of sculpey than I do.
I know the character thanks to batman: the animated series.
That episode with etrigan is one of my favorites!
I've got to ask is Complete Carnage inspired by this character?

Tokka, yeah he is mostly a a good guy. A Demon bound to a human soul, released only when a spell is spoke either by Jason Blood (the dude he's bound to) or another.
The complete spell:
Yarva Demonicus Etrigan.
Change, change the form of man.
Free the prince forever damned.
Free the might from fleshy mire.
Boil the blood in heart of fire.
Gone, gone the form of man,
Rise the demon Etrigan!
i've never read any of the comics, but he does sound interesting.
there's a hardcover omnibus of the first sixteen issues coming out this fall though, i've been looking forward to checking it out.
