My older brother Bruce Laird is an artist (as well as a contender for #1 TMNT fan), and he's having a show of his paintings in New York City from now through June 7th, with an opening reception this Saturday May 17th, from 4PM to 7PM. The show is at the Noho Gallery,530 West 25th Street, 4th floor. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11AM to 6PM. If you're in town, stop by and check it out! -- PL

Wow Pete! I had no idea you had a brother let alone an older one!
And an artist just like you how amazing! Does it run in the family?
Does he by any chance have a website or any of his work online that we could see?
I like reading about your family, now I know you're father was an artist and so is your brother. Sounds like you've got quite the creative family. Must be in your blood.
Creativity must run in the family, huh? That is really cool that many of your family members are so talented!
You know Pete, if Bruce is an artist AND a TMNT fan, why hasn't he been a guest artist? Get on it! :-)
Awesome. Does he have any TMNT images in the show? I would love to see a gallery-art take on them!
Stephan,
You know I was thinking the same exact thing! lol
@Vaughn:
That Happens a lot with you and I. Great minds sir, great minds!
-->> I beleive Bruce could be dubbed a po-artist of sorts for what i can tell.
I think i'm gonna have to look up some more of his work..
Killer,Pete .. !!

I have seen Bruce's shows before - and they ROCK! check it out if you can :0)
the "other" BL
Could someone tell me if Bruce Laird is Irish and originally from Co. Dublin?
I am trying to trace a Bruce Laird who was in school with my father and a great cartoonist. At least he and my Dad were big Goons fans and used to listen to The Goon Show at night on the radio and when my Dad would come to school the next day Bruce would have drawn cartoons of how he imagined the Goons.
Any clues...?
Looks like I'm a little late...
