Demon sketchbook part 4

Moving on, here are the next two entries in my "Demon" sketch book, and they couldn't be more different.

First up is one by Don Simpson, best known as the creator/artist/writer of "Megaton Man" (one of my favorite comic books when it first came out), and his Demon is drawn in that crazy, over-the-top style he used for Megaton Man.

And here's a great one I had forgotten was in the book -- Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo confronting the Demon. -- PL

Great Don Simpson piece. I miss the comics he did, but I heard he is teaching art now.

You should get an updated one, talking about theme sketches: 'How would they draw them now?'

I just got the Etrigan action figure today that Matel made it's simply awesome, this is the direction that most toy companies seem to be going these days with articulation, sculpting, and choice of all kinds of characters.
It's the direction I wish Playmates was going in, at least for the 25th Anniversary.

I mean I know TMNT is no Marvel or DC but they will never get to that point if they keep getting treated like they're less than them and not equals.

Hey Peter,

I was wondering if you've heard of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_the_Independents

Seems like all the big names in Independent comics are going to be represented here except for Hellboy and certain green quartet.

I have heard a little about it, although I'm pretty sure I was never invited to participate. -- PL

How weird is it for your idols to be your peers.
